Bin Laden

Downtown Penticton

Looking East by the Hooded Merganser

The Hooded Merganser looking West
Finally. He was found. And disposed of. We turn a corner of history today. Here in Canada, we are turning another corner, it is Canada's Federal Election Day. At nine a.m. I have to go and vote. Today being cloudy, I will post a few pictures from yesterday's sunshine, to show how nice downtown Penticton is in the Spring. Thank you for your May Day greetings, and compliments. Cheers!

Penticton looks thoroughly charming! "More, more more!" chorused the audience from the gallery :)
I'd really LOVE to see more!

Hope the queue for voting wasn't too lengthy?

Wonderful photos again. Those blossom trees look so pretty. We're voting on Thursday and have to decide if we want to change the voting system too.

Bin Laden gone, yes, but will the world be a safer place? We will see. At least one can say that justice was done.

As for The Hooded Merganser, I can totally see why you would enjoy eating there so much. With what you have told us of the food, added to views like that..!

THM? Who thought up that title?

Mind you, I'd have a BLETCH there with you any day. It would have to be a BLETH though, cheese doesn't like me.
